The WS-450W measures indoor and outdoor temperature, indoor and outdoor humidity as well as dew point and heat index. The remote sensor can be used to monitor industrial work environments from factories to construction sites as well as every home or office site. The combination of temperature measuring features and forecast function are unmatched by any other station that we sell. Consider this environment monitor for any use where measuring heat index and high temperatures are required. The WS-450W has a relatively insufficient low temperature range of just -4F and a relatively low altitude setting for its barometer at just under 4000 feet...but its combination of heat measuring functions overcomes these low temperature deficiencies. The station will still measure temperature, humidity, dew point and heat index at any altitude.
